Perfect on Paper.
Expensive in
Real Life.
Sea views, renovated, great neighborhood. They signed.
Within months: sleep issues, focus slipping, tension at home, daughter's grades dropped.
Eighteen months later, they sold at a loss.
They missed a Feng Shui due diligence before they bought.
Two Properties. One Obvious Answer.
A couple came to me with two finalists. On paper, they were nearly identical: same price range, same neighbourhood, both renovated.
Property A had the layout they'd always imagined. Property B felt smaller on first visit.
The Feng Shui analysis told a different story. The main entrance's design flaw and the master bedroom's orientation in Property A resulted in consistent sleep disruption and relationship tension. Property B had none of those issues. The smaller feeling was a furniture problem, not a space problem.
They bought Property B. Eighteen months later, they told me it was the best decision they'd made.
